• WatchMan WM3000 is a patrol tour data collection terminal based on Radio Frequence Identification technology (RFID).
  It is called "WatchMan" because it helps you watch over your employees that you have once had difficulties tracking-those whose working duties require moving from place to place: security personnel, patrolling a facility, technicians in charge of remote equipment inspection, etc..
  Now, thanks to the WatchMan, you can verify exactly what route and schedule your personnel follows throughout the working shift.
  
  
  
  How it works?
  Simple. All you have to do is identify certain critical points (checkpoints) on your emploee's projected route and install an RFID tag at each checkpoint.
  Once your employee reaches the checkpoint, he reads the RFID tag using the WM3000. The tag's ID code is storedin the WM3000's Journal together with the Date/Time stamp. Once entered, a journal record can neither be altered, nor deleted.
  All you have to do later is download the Journal into the PC to verify  exactly when your employee has reached which checkpoint on his route.

• Simple one-touch operation: pressing a "Scan" button activates the WatchMan. After RFID tag is read, its ID code is stored in the Journal together with the Date/Time stamp.
• The Journal with 2000 record capacity resides in a highly reliable non-volatile memory that will retain its contents even in the absence of power.
• Comprehensive Journal access mechanism protects against unauthorized Journal manipulaton. Once entered, the journal record cannot be altered. The Journal is password-protected and can only be read-out or cleared through a BC3000 charge/interface cradle.
• High-contrast backlit numerical LCD is capable of displaying date/time, ID code of the last tag scanned, number of records in the Journal and battery status.
• Internal low-power RFID reader has a 3-inch reading range.*
• Ergonomically designed with two "Scan" buttons on each side of the unit, the WM3000 fits comfortably into any hand.
• Compact and lightweight body measuring only 110x60x23mm weights a mere 150grams.
• Low power operation: up to 1 month in standby mode (with date/time constantly displayed) and up to 4 months in sleep mode on a single battery charge.**
• Wide operating temperature range (-20 to 50 degrees C) allows for an outdoor use in a variety of weather conditions.

• Completely charges WM3000 in 2 hours. Constantly monitors and conditions the battery.
• Connects to the PC through a serial port and provides an interface between PC and WM3000.
